1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Elara Shades website, contacting us, scheduling a consultation, or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. Services Offered

Elara Shades provides design consultation, sale, and professional installation of motorized shades, blinds, curtains, and related window treatment products and smart-home integrations in the Las Vegas, Nevada metropolitan area.

3. Design Consultation

Our $500 design consult includes the deliverables detailed on our website and in your booking confirmation. The $500 fee is fully refundable if you choose not to move forward with installation and is credited in full toward the cost of installation if you do. You will retain all design documents and fabric samples regardless of whether you proceed.

4. Pricing and Payment

Service pricing is provided in written proposals following your consultation. Payment terms, deposit schedules, and acceptable payment methods are detailed in each proposal. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Nevada state and local sales tax applies where required.

5. Installation and Scheduling

Installation dates are scheduled by mutual agreement. We coordinate with your construction schedule where applicable. Installation is typically completed in one to two days for whole-home packages. Access to the installation site must be provided during scheduled appointment windows.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

Design Guarantee: If you don't love the shade plan, we refund the $500 consult fee and you keep all design documents. No questions asked.

Motor Warranty: All motorized shade motors installed by Elara Shades carry a five-year warranty covering parts and labor. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, power surges, unauthorized modifications, or acts of God.

Performance Guarantee: If summer glare at your home is not reduced by at least 90% after install, we will remove the shades at no charge and refund 100% of the purchase price.

7. Cancellation Policy

Design consultations may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge. Installation cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled install date; cancellations within that window may incur restocking fees on custom-ordered products.

8. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Elara Shades related to your project. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for support. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content — including text, images, logos, photography, and design — is the property of Elara Shades or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elara Shades is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our site or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to services shall not exceed the amount paid for those services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
